I’m Lawrence Wilder, a photographer, videographer, and creative producer based in Seattle.

My path into photography started in the recording studio. I was producing music and engineering sessions when I began taking photos of the artists I worked with. Those casual session photos turned into requests for portraits, album covers, and promotional images. Eventually, the camera became as much a part of my work as the studio.

Today, I create photography, video, and social content for artists, businesses, nonprofits, and individuals. My work has taken me from Seattle to Panama and beyond, documenting everything from personal stories and community gatherings to live performances and creative campaigns.

I enjoy helping people get comfortable in front of the camera and figuring out what makes their story worth sharing. Some clients come with a fully formed idea. Others need someone to help them find a starting point. I enjoy being part of that process, from the first conversation through the final edit.

My background in music and audio engineering shapes how I approach visual work. I pay attention to rhythm, pacing, and how sound changes the feeling of a scene. When I produce a video, that care carries through to the recording, editing, and final mix.

Across more than 20 years of creative work, the most rewarding part has been making something with people that they’re proud to put into the world.
